You may have noticed that Cambridge Dictionaries Online has been making changes recently.
More than 20,000 of you have answered surveys and told us how we could improve our site.
Here's a selection of the things we've been working on:
New! 40,000 audio pronunciations
I'm excited to be able to tell you that we've now added sound to our site.
With more than 40,000 audio recordings in British and American English you can perfect your pronunciation by clicking on the
or
icons when you're using the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary.
Improve your vocabulary!
We've added topic information to most of the dictionary entries, based on our unique SMART Thesaurus.
Now, when you look up a word that's part of a topic, you'll see a group of words that are related to the word you looked up in a cloud on the right-hand side.
The words in the cloud are bigger or smaller depending on how frequently they are used.
We are working hard to make the world's most popular online learner's dictionaries better than ever.
More changes will be coming in the months ahead.
